Jacqui assisted us very last minute the morning of a wedding for my partner who was a groomsman, she got back to me asap on a Saturday and managed to quickly and efficiently tailor his pants within the hour prior to the wedding. Jacqui is an absolutely amazing seamstress… I don’t know what I would have done without her for my wedding! It all started with another seamstress ruining my wedding dress to the point where I was absolutely devastated and in tears a few weeks out from my wedding. I was then recommended to see Jacqui who booked me in straight away. Jacqui saved my dress (and my life!) when I was just about ready to throw my hands up and give up! Jacqui was so welcoming and friendly and she put my mind at ease straight away; you can tell she knows what she is doing! Not only did Jacqui save my dress, but she altered my bridesmaids dresses (including last minute night before reconstructions! and then dropping the dress off to the wedding location and then fixing up other dresses on site!), my groom and his groomsmen’s suit alterations, including a complete reconstruction of my son’s vest so that he could have the same vest as the groomsmen, and on top of this, Jacqui also steamed and pressed all of our items, including my tulle flower girl dresses. Jacqui can do it all and I am so grateful that I found her! My wedding day would not have been the same without Jacqui; she really helped to make it perfect and went above and beyond! Jacqui was amazing. We had a disaster with a bridesmaids dress on the day of my sisters wedding and Jacqui dropped everything to fix the dress hours before the ceremony. Very helpful and lovely to deal with ☺️ Naomi Jacqui saved us on the long weekend. My granddaughter was in a dance competition and we needed urgent repair to her costume. Jacqui is amazing and so helpful. I called her 3 weeks out from a wedding after finally finding a bridesmaid dress that would work for me but it needed some serious altering. Jacqui squeezed me in around her already full books and had it all done within a week, steamed and ready to be worn. So many compliment for people about the dress. Jacqui was always communicating during the process and the price was so reasonable. Will definitely use Jacqui again in future for events and when I pick my wedding dress in the coming months.

Jacqui is a master at her craft. I bought my wedding dress off the rack which was 3 sizes too big, but I was in love with it! I knew it would be a massive job to get it altered as it had a lot of intricate and detailed lace, but jacqui went beyond my expectations and it fit like an absolute glove for my wedding day. The day before the formal, I noticed a makeup stain on the dress. Jacqui allowed me to bring the dress over straight away and she had the stain out, the dress washed, dried and pressed ready for the big day overnight! I first called Jacqui out of blue when I needed some advice on a wedding dress I was about to buy off the rack that needed altering. I am so grateful that I did as the shop assistant had nearly convinced me to buy the dress. When I spoke to Jacqui and after sending her photos of the dress she was very honest and informative about the issues we would face and the reality was unfortunately that wasn’t the dress for me. She went out of her way to help me that day taking time out of her busy schedule. I did buy another dress though which I took to Jacqui for alterations, she was wonderful. I felt very comfortable with her, she is very knowledgeable and you know she really cares about the quality of her work and your happiness. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jacqui alterations.

Jacqui recently turned a formal gown with a train I had purchased into a stunning ankle lenght semi-formal gown. At my request, she even made a tie out of the remaining material and a pocket square for my husband’s suit, to match for the occassion. Jacqui also altered the suit and shirt beautifully. Her attention to detail, and the quality of her workmanship, is exceptional. I hadn’t used a professional in this field before and Jacqui made me feel at ease right from the beginning; nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend her services and have already left another dress for her to alter!

Jacqui is a god, there is no other way to put it. I was attending a wedding on the south coast (staying there a couple of nights) and I woke up on the morning of the wedding and suddenly nothing seemed more important than removing the train from my beautiful red formal gown.
I found Jacqui through a google search, looked her up on FB and sent her a 6:30am SOS message (did I mention it was a public holiday) and not only did she answer, she was altering my dress mere hours before the wedding at an amazing rate and the job was perfection. You couldn’t tell it had been altered if you tried.
