Hi I’m Jacqui and I would love to share my passion for textiles and the perfect garment fit with you. I am based in beautiful Shoalhaven Heads and service the South Coast region and Southern highlands region of NSW.

I have over 30yrs experience in alterations. I specialise in delicate and complicated alterations. Hand beading and hand sewing and working with vintage gowns are my favourites. I also do suit and formal wear alterations

I have a degree majoring in textiles including the manufacture and care of fabrics as well as construction and design. 

I have achieved multiple awards within my field including the brides choice/wedding industry award for my region for the last six consecutive years. I also achieved best bridal alterations nationally in the Wedding industry awards for 2021, second in 2022 and Current reigning winner for 2023 and finalist for 2024 Australian wedding awards.

I have also won the newly added suit and formal wear alterations category at this years WIA regional awards and have become a finalist for the Australian award. 

I run an all inclusive studio based business operating by appointment. I have disabled access but  I do travel for disabled clients to provide a home service. I also travel to attend wedding days to dress and assist brides on their big day including dressing and steaming or all those little last minute dramas. 

I offer an emergency response to wedding day disasters at any time. 

I offer friendly and personal service for formal and wedding alterations both big and small. Working from my studio allows me to have flexible working hours and appointment times to meet your busy schedule.
I am currently contracted to complete alterations for some major retail chains in the region and I come highly recommended by many local bridal stores.
I run a fully registered and insured business to give you peace of mind.

Specialising in alterations for: Brides, Grooms, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Flower girls, Mother of the bride, Debutante dresses, Special occasion and I can assist with special needs clients with my nursing background.
